Emma Skalicky
Independent arts worker, actor, producer, director, writer
Emma is an independent arts worker who has been practicing as variously an actor, producer, director, or writer since 2014. Previous works include Ophelia: A Decomposition in Two Parts (The Picton Grange Quarterly Review, Issue 6), Panopticon (Currency Press) for ATYP’s Intersection 2019: Arrival, and Medusa Waking (Bad Company Theatre, 2021). She is passionate about best consent and ethical practices, and is currently undertaking a postgraduate program in trauma-informed counselling to further her learning. Emma has a First Class Honours in playwriting, and ran PLoT Theatre from 2016-2020. She will be performing in The Theatre Closet’s production of Crave in November 2021.
